Hello you! I’m Angie Tiwari.

I’ve been practising yoga my entire life having grown up in an Indian, Hindu household where breathing techniques, poses and chanting were the norm. But when I rediscovered yoga in gyms/studios, it felt so far removed from the practice I knew that I didn’t actually recognise them as the same.

I felt like I wasn’t good enough, slim enough, flexible enough, or with the right activewear to be the ‘type of person who does yoga.’ But over the years I fell in love with the poses and after a breakthrough moment in 2017, I went to India to deepen my understanding through a teacher training.

I had many transformative moments in the lead up and during the training. I became obsessed with spirituality, rerooting with my culture, and the evidence based spiritual science that is yoga (and all that it encapsulates.) At the time, I worked in tech sales, and having experienced the impact of these rituals, I could see how much they could help those I worked with.

On my return to the U.K, the company I worked at asked me to teach weekly classes, which is how I developed a love of sharing the practice. This then expanded to me teaching at gyms until 2020, when friends and family encouraged me to teach classes online.

After building a kind and committed global community, I set up UNEARTHED, my yoga membership with access to on demand online classes, and began hosting retreats at my home.

I wanted to break down the barriers I had felt when I started my yoga and wellbeing journey so that no one felt as excluded as I had - especially from my own culture. The side hustle grew, my retreats featured in The Times and Condé Nast Traveller, and after working with brands like Instagram, Gymshark and UberEats, it was in 2023 that I quit my full time job as the Director of Sales to focus solely on my side hustle turned business.

I'm on a mission to empower you to look at your health holistically, from mindset shifts to movement on your mat. I have healed myself naturally from gut health issues through lifestyle changes, and by breaking down the barriers in the wellness industry, and championing diversity and inclusion, I want you to feel positive about making tiny habit changes that lead to long lasting results for better health and high performance.

With my corporate experience, and now as a wife and business owner, I completely get how busy life can be. My online accessible classes help everyone, from complete beginners to yoga teachers, regulate their nervous system, stay consistent with practice, and manage their emotions confidently.
